AttendEase Application

Our AttendEase application is designed with your privacy and security as a top priority. Here’s how we handle your data:

• Firebase Services: We use Firebase, a Google platform, for backend services. Firebase provides a secure environment for your data with features like database security rules to prevent unauthorized access. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Facial Recognition: The facial recognition feature in AttendEase is performed on-edge, meaning the processing happens directly on your device. Only face embeddings (a mathematical representation of your facial features) are stored in Firebase Firestore for 1:1 matching. We do not store actual images of your face for recognition purposes.
• Image Retention: For attendance verification, images snapped during check-in and check-out are stored securely. These images are retained for a period of 30 days for auditing and verification purposes, after which they are permanently deleted from our systems.

Data Security

The security of your data is important to us. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
