AttendEase Application

Our AttendEase application is designed with your privacy and security as a top priority. Here's how we handle your data:

• Firebase Services: We use Firebase, a Google platform, for backend services. Firebase provides a secure environment for your data with features like database security rules to prevent unauthorised access. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Facial Recognition: The facial recognition feature is performed on-device on the mobile app — processing happens directly on the user's device. Only face embeddings (a mathematical representation of facial features) are stored in Firebase Firestore for 1:1 matching. We do not store actual images of your face for recognition purposes.
• Image Retention: Attendance verification images (check-in and check-out photos) are stored securely and retained for 30 days for auditing and verification purposes, after which they are permanently deleted from our systems.

Data Security

The security of your data is important to us. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
